Our in-depth knowledge of environmental and health & safety and sustainability management systems, our vast experience in dealing with all levels of management and our project management skills allow us to support our clients in a unique way to ensure their satisfaction.
Sandra Tavares
Sandra Tavares is the Principal of Tavares Group Consulting Inc. Sandra has twelve years of experience, ranging from local EHS management with small firms to global CSR management with large multinationals. On a regional level, Sandra has conducted EHS management and compliance audits throughout Canada, the U.S. and Mexico. On a community level, Sandra is an active member of the Canadian Advisory Committees on Environmental Management and Social Responsibility. These committees provide Canadian feedback to the ISO Technical Committees who develop the ISO 14001 and ISO 26000 standards, respectively. Sandra is also a former member of the Canadian Council of Ministers of the Environment’s (CCME) Pollution Prevention Awards Advisory Board and the Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters Environmental Quality Committee.
Sandra has a Master of Science (Plant Science/Environmental Science) from the University of Western Ontario, is fluent in English and Portuguese and has a working knowledge of Spanish and Italian.
Jacqueline Gons
Jacqueline Gons is an Associate with Tavares Group Consulting. Jacqueline's work experience includes parkland management planning and economic development research for municipal governments, and ISO 14000 implementation for a multinational company. Jacqueline has a Bachelor of Environment and Resource Studies from the University of Waterloo, a Master of Arts (Geography) from the University of Windsor, and an Environmental Engineering Applications diploma from Conestoga College. Jacqueline's other pursuits include writing and organic gardening.
